A stranded international college student navigates a socially distanced community amidst an ongoing pandemic, while pushing to complete his thesis film.

What Happens Tomorrow began as a collection of short stories; a personal love letter to the odds and ends that I have seen, and picked up on as a learning filmmaker in Baltimore. Principal photography for the narratives started in the Fall of 2019, but came to a stop upon the Coronavirus pandemic in the Spring of 2020. Oliver, a key protagonist to the narrative series, comes to life as his socially distanced traits now mirror my own. I turn the camera onto myself as I navigate a society where a seemingly airborne virus keeps family and strangers equally apart. Stepping out of the front door for anything from a quick shopping trip, to a breath of fresh fair becomes a dance with death as the virus leaves a trail of bodies in its wake.

The What Happens Tomorrow documentary is set to complete over the Summer of 2020.
